Nats put up six in the nineth to beat the Mets 6-2

The Nats had a late rally to surge past the Mets today, 6-2. The Nats scored all their runs in the ninth inning. Sharion Martis gave up only one run in his four innings. The other pitchers of Justin Jones, Terrell Young, Jason Bergmann, Jesus Colome, and Garrett Mock held the Mets to one run. Young was charged with the run.

The ninth inning surge was lead by Kory Castro, Freddie Bynum, Gustavo Molina, and Justin Maxwell. Maxwell big blow was a two run homer. Willie Harris also had two doubles today.

The Nats are 7-6-2 in Grapefruit League play and 8-6-2 overall.

The Nats next game is tomorrow versus Detroit Tigers at Viera, Fla. The game starts at 1:05pm.
