Sorry Nats9 Fans!!!

Nats9 Fans..I lost my internet connection and hence the stoppage of posts! But I am ready to roll for the Winter of 2011 so we can get our Nats on!

The Marlins Blank the Nats once again, 1-0.

The Nats' bats did not show up once again. It was their second straight game being shut out to the Florida Marlins and this time they lost 1-0. The Nats have not scored a run in the last 21 innings.!!! The good news is that the Nats' pitching has only allowed 3 runs over the last 27 innings. The Nats drop to 40-52 and are still in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

Craig Stammen took the lost as he pitched six innings while only giving up one run. Joe Peralta pitched two scoreless innings in relief.


Hitting:

The Nats scored no runs on eight hits. It was the second straight game which the Nats out hit the Marlins. The Nats had eight different players which had one hit a piece. The Nats left nine men on base and were 0-9 with runners in scoring position.

The Fish Return the Favor and Blanks Nats, 2-0.

The Nats had plenty opportunities against the Florida Marlins last night, but were unable to score a run in a 2-0 lost. The Marlins returned the favor of being shut out the game before and blanked the Nats. The Nats are 40-51 and are still in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

Livan Hernandez took the lost as he pitched 6 innings while only giving up two runs which one was earned. Tyler Clippard pitched two shut out innings of relief.

Hitting:

The Nats scored NO RUNS on ELEVEN HITS! The Nats were led by Roger Bernadina with three hits. The Nats left 10 men on base and were 0-9 with runners in scoring position!!

Nats Swim away from the Fish, 4--0.

The Nats scored four runs in the 6th inning while the their pitching staff shut out the Florida Marlins for a 4 to nothing victory. The victory snapped a two game losing skid; the Nats improve to 40-50 and still are in last place of the NL East.

Pitching:

Stephen Strasburg made it work against the Marlins last night by pitching six shut innings while giving up no runs. Strasburg also added 7 strike outs. The bullpen of Drew Storen and Matt Capps pitched a combine 3 innings of no run relief to complete the shut out of the Marlins.


Hitting:

The Nats scored 4 runs on 8 hits. Adam Dunn led the Nats with two hits. Josh Willingham had 3 RBI with a 3 run double in the 6th inning.

While I was gone....

The SF Giants won the last series before the All-Star Break. verses Our Nats by beating them Saturday and Sunday!

I want to congratulate Matt Capps on being the winner of the All-Star game!! Rock on Matt!

Happy Birthday to ME!

I was at last night's game as the Nats topped the Giants, 8-1. It was a nice present to see Strasburg be on his game and Dunn doing his Thang! Thanks Boys for a nice present!

I always like to thanks my friend that came out to the game with me! It was a blast!!
