The Nats look terrible again in a 3-1 lost to the Cubs. The offense has gone south and Cubs’ pitcher Carlos Zambrano was the offense star of the game with a two run double.
Pitching:
Craig Stammen pitched well enough to win as he pitched 6 innings and gave up only 3 runs. The bullpen did not allow a run tonight.
Batting:
The Nats collected 5 hits and scored one run. Njger Morgan lead the Nats with three hits. The only run of the game was a bases loaded walk by Willie Harris.

The Nats dropped to 26-63 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

The Nats will play their third game tomorrow of this home series as Jordan Zimmermann takes on the Cubs’ Randy Wells at 7:05pm.
