Nats Fall to Padres, 7-1.

The SD Padres dominated the Nats the whole game by great pitching and hitting four homers to them to a 7-1 victory. The Nats though still won the series two games to one. The Nats fall to 38-48 and are still in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

Luis Atilano pitched 5.1 inning while giving up 4 runs took the lost. The bullpen of Miguel Batista, Joe Peralta, and Doug Slaten combined to pitched 3.2 innings as they gave up 3 runs.


Hitting:

The Nats scored only one run on eight hits. The Nats were led by Roger Bernadina and Adam Kennedy who both had two hits a piece. Adam Dunn had an RBI.
