Braves Top Nats, 4-1.

The Nats did out hit the Atlanta Braves last night, but did not get any timely hits against the them in a 4-1 lost. The lost of opportunity cost the Nats to win the game. The Nats drop to 34-45 and are still in last place in the NL East.


Pitching:

J.D Martin took the lost as he pitched 5 innings while giving up 3 runs. Doug Slaten also gave up a run in his .1 inning of work. Joe Peralta, Miguel Batista, and Matt Capps combined to pitch 2.2 innings of shut out relief.

Hitting:

The Nats scored only one run, but managed eight hits. The Nats were led by Adam Dunn's two hits.
