Strasburg and Dunn Power Nats over the Giants, 8-1.

Stephen Strasburg had a solid effort combined with Adam Dunn's power which was too much for the SF Giants as the Nats won 8-1. The Nats have won 3 out of their last four games against the NL West opponents. The Nats are 39-48 and are still in last place of the NL East.

Pitching:

Stephen Strasburg pitched 6 soild innings as he only gave up one run while striking out 8 in his third victory of the year. Sean Burnett, Drew Storen and Joe Peralta combined for 3 scoreless inning.


Hitting:

The Nats' bats scored 8 runs on 13 hits!! Adam Dunn and Willie Harris both had three hits apiece which led the Nats. It was Dunn's power that ignited the Nats as he had two homers which was his 21st and 22nd of the year combined with three RBI.
