Finally! The Nats Stop Losing Steak! Beat Braves, 7-2!

The Nats had a complete game yesterday as they beat the Atlanta Braves by a score of 7-2. The Nats got good overall pitching and decent hitting to stop the 5 game losing skid. The Nats are currently 34-44 and are in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

Craig Stammen picked up his second victory of the year as he pitched 7.1 innings while only giving up two runs. Relief pitchers Sean Burnett and Tyler Clifford combined for 1.2 innings of shut out relief.


Hitting:

The Nats scored 7 runs on 11 hits. Alberto Gonzalez led the Nats with 4 hits. Josh Willingham hit his 14th homer of the year. Ryan Zimmerman and Willingham both had 2 RBI a piece.
