Braves Stopped the Streak at Eight, 8-1.

The Nats streak stopped at eight victories as the Braves won by a score of 8 to 1. The Braves got runs early and late to make the game not even close which also got great pitching from Tommy Hanson.



Pitching:

John Lannan was not at the top of his game as he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up six runs. The bullpen of Logan Kensing, Tyler Clippard and Saul Rivera gave up 2 runs.

Batting:

The Nats collected 8 hits and scored only 1 run in the lost. Nyjer Morgan and Cristen Guzman led the Nats with two hits apiece.

Record:

The Nats dropped to 40-73 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

Next Game:

The Nats finish up their two game set in Atlanta as Craig Stammen takes on the Braves’ Derek Lowe at 7pm.
