Brewers top Nats, 7-1.

Brewers 7 Nats 1

The Brewers big sixth inning produced 6 runs for them and the difference in the game against the Nats,7-1. The Nats bats were not existence in yesterday’s lost.


Pitching:

Starter Collin Balester had a solid first five innings against the Brewers, but the only took nine pitches to let if slip away as he gave up 4 runs in his 5 plus innings of work. The bullpen did not help either as they gave up 3 runs in 4 innings of relief.

Batting:

The Nats collected 5 hits, and scored only 1 runs The Nats were led by Willie Harris two hits and Wil Nieves RBI.

Record:

The Nats dropped to 44-81 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

Next Game:

The Nats next game is today in Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs as Garrett Mock takes on the Cubs’ Carlos Zambrano at 8:05pm.
