Rockies 4 Nats 3

The Nats and the Rockies were tied 2 to 2 after 6 innings, but Rockies came out on top by the score of 4-3. The Nats did have the tying and winning run on bases with two outs as Ryan Zimmerman flied out to end the game.

Pitching:

Craig Stammen pitched 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. But the bullpen of Ron Villone, Jason Bergmann, Tyler Clippard, and Sean Burnett gave up two runs in the last 3.2 innings of relief. Burnett took the lose

Batting:

The Nats collected 7 hits, and scored 3 runs. The Nats were led by Nyjer Morgan’s three hits. Three Nats had one RBI each.
