Brewers Outlast the Nats, 11-9.

The Nats got outlasted by the Brewers by a score of 11 to 9! The starting pitching and the late inning bullpen work let the offense down in the lost.


Pitching:

Starter John Lannan pitched only 1.2 innings while giving up 7 runs. It is one of his worst starts in recent memory. Saul Rivera kept the game close by giving up one run in 3.1 innings. But the remaining pitchers of the bullpen allowed late runs to hurt the Nats in the lost.

Batting:

The Nats collected 10 hits, and scored 9 runs. The Nats were led by Ronnie Belliard who had three hits including a grand slam. Willie Harris also added a homer in the lost.

Record:

The Nats dropped to 43-80 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

The Nats next game is today in NatsTown against the Brewers as Craig Stammen takes on the Brewers’s Manny Parra at 1:35pm.
