The Nats got solid pitching and good hitting to win their eighth straight game as the Nats beat the D-Backs by a score of 9-2.
Pitching:
J.D Martin got his first MLB victory by pitching 5 innings while giving up one run. The bullpen which consisted of four pitchers only gave up one run in 4 innings. Jorge Sosa picked up his second save.
Batting:
The Nats scored 9 runs on 16 hits! The Nats were lead by Ryan Zimmerman who got three hits and four other Nats got two hits a piece. Some of the highlights of the hitting was Adam Dunn's 30th homer of the year and Elijah Dukes' 3 RBI.

The Nats improve to 40-72 and winners of their last eight. The Nats are still in last place of the NL East.
