Pirates Smashes the Nats, 11-6

The Pirates torch the Nats by a score of 11-6! The Pirates keep it rolling as the Nats' pitching was terrible.

Pitching:

Craig Stammen only lasted 3 plus innings as he gave up 6 runs. The bullpen did not help by giving up 5 runs in relief.

Batting:

Ryan Zimmerman and Nyjer Morgan led the way as they each got three hits apiece.

Record:

The Nats dropped to 32-72 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

Next Game:

The Nats will play their third game of the series against the Pirates in Pittsburgh as Collin Balester takes on Pat Maholm 1:35pm.
