Giant get by Nats, 4-2.

The Giants topped the Nats last night in a 4-2 game. The pitching dominated the majority of the game except for two innings. The Giants scored 4 times in the 5th inning with two outs and the Nats scored two runs in the 7th inning. The Nats are currently are 23-23 and are tied for fourth place in the NL East.


Pitching:

Livan Hernandez took the lost as he pitched five innings, but gave up 4 runs. The bullpen of Tyler Walker, Sean Burnett and Miguel Batista combined for 3 innings of shut out relief.



Hitting:

The Nats scored two runs four hits. The Nat had four players with one hit a piece.
