Rockies Nip the Nats, 2-1.

The Rockies handed the Nats their first three game losing streak of the year as they beat them 2-1. Pitching was the name of the game as both starters only let up one run apiece in their outings. The Nats are currently 20-18 and are tied for second place in the NL East with the Florida Marlins.



Pitching:

Scott Olsen had another good outing as he only allowed one run over 6.2 inning. Tyler Clifford took the lost as he allowed one run over 1.1 innings of relief work.


Hitting:

The Nats scored only one run on eight hits. Mike Morse and Cristan Guzman led the Nats with two hits apiece. Guzman also had an RBI.
