Too Little, Too Late, Nats lose to the Mets, 10-7.

The Nats played one of their worst games last night as they were a fundamentally challenged baseball team as they lost to the Mets, 10-7. The Nats made three errors and made some costly mental errors. The Nats dropped to 21-21 and are in fourth place of the NL East.

Pitching:

Luis Atilano was not at his best as he pitched 4.1 innings as he gave up 7 runs. Tyler Walker was not much better as he pitched only 1.2 innings but gave up 3 runs. Miguel Batista and Sean Burnett combined for 3 innings of shut out relief.

Hitting:

The Nats did score 7 runs on 12 hits, but it was not enough. Adam Dunn, Ivan Rodriquez and Ian Desmond all had two hits a piece. Willie Harris had 3 RBI.
