Nats Cannot Swim after from the Fish! Marlins beat Nats, 4-2.

The Nats got great pitching from starter Craig Stammen, but the bullpen faltered in the 8th inning against the Marlins. The game was tied at two in the 8th inning, but the Marlins scored twice to beat the Nats, 4-2. The Nats are currently 15-14.


Pitching:

Starter Craig Stammen pitched well enjoy to win as he pitched 6.2 innings while giving up only 2 runs. He also had eight strikeouts. Brian Bruney struggled once again as he pitched one inning but gave up 2 runs. Sean Burnett held down the fort as he pitched .1 inning of shout relief. Tyler Walker pitched the last inning giving up no runs.

Hitting:

The Nats only scored two runs on five hits. Ryan Zimmerman led the Nats with two hits. He also homered for the fifth time this year.
