Padres beat Nats, 4-2.

The Padres topped the Nats last night by a score of 4-2. The game was mostly dominated by pitching and timely hitting by the Padres in the first inning. The Nats dropped to 25-25 and are tied for 3rd place in the NL East.


Pitching:

J.D Martin took the lost in a decent outing as he allowed 4 runs in 6 innings. Miguel Batista was very impressive in his two innings of shut out relief.


Hitting:

The Nats only scored two runs on five hits. Five different Nats had one hit a piece.
