Another Day...Another Heartache! Nats lose to O's, 6-5.

The Nats once again blew a big lead. The Nats got ahead of the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 5-0, but once again lost by a score of 6-5. The Nats are in a funk and they need to break out of it. The inter league play by the Nats have been terrible. The Nats drop to 33-42 and are in last place of the NL East.

Pitching:

Livan Hernandez gave up 5 runs in 6 innings of work. He had a big lead but gave it all back. Sean Burnett took the lost because of a led off walk as he pitched .2 of an inning while being charged with one run. Drew Storen let in his first inherited runner to score on a wild pitch in his .1 inning of work. Joe Peralta pitched one inning of shut out relief.

Hitting:

The Nats scored 5 runs on 7 hits. All of the runs came in the first 4 innings. The Nats were led by Josh Willingham's two hits. Adam Dunn got two more RBI.
