Lackluster performance dooms Nats as they fall to the Astros, 5-1.

The Nats' offense was on hiatus and the defense was pores as they drop one to the Astros, 5-1. The Nats left the bases loaded twice, a Nyjer Morgan's blunder on the base paths and Ian Desmond's three errors to led to the demise to the Nats last night. The Nats drop to 26-28 and are in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

John Lannan gave a solid performance as he pitched 6.1 inning while giving up 5 runs, but only two were earned. Tyler Walker pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no runs, but did allow two inherited runner score.


Hitting:

The Nats scored only one run on 7 hits. Adam Dunn led the Nats with 3 hits and a RBI.
