It was a long weekend for the Nats against the White Sox. The Nats finally had the lead against the White Sox on Sunday, but it did not last long. John Lannan was not able to get out of the 5th inning without recording an out. The Nats' bats were not lively enough to support the Nats' pitching on this Sunday. The Nats finally fell to the White Sox by a score of 6-3 and were swept.
Pitching:
John Lannan gave up 5 runs on 11 hits in four innings. Miguel Batista pitched 3 innings of shut out relief. Drew Storen gave up one run in two innings of work.
Hitting:
The Nats scored 3 runs on eight hits. Cristin Guzman, Roger Bernadina and Josh Willingham led the Nats with 2 hits a piece.
