Kearns and the Indians lay it on the Nats, 7-2.

A former Nat gave it to the current Nats! Indians' Austin Kearns hit two homers to lead the Indians over the Nats, 7-2. The Nats never seemed in the game after the first half inning of the game. The Nats are currently 30-31 and are in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

Luis Atilano did not have his best game as he took his 3rd lost of the year. Atilano only pitched 5 innings while giving up 6 runs. Tyler Walker pitched two relief innings while giving up a run. Doug Slaten finished up the game by pitching one inning of shut out relief.


Hitting:

The Nats only scored two runs on seven hits. Three Nats each had two hits a piece.
