Indians Dominated the Nats, 7-1.

The Indians were in control of the 7-1 victory over the Nats from the beginning of the game. The Indians' pitching and the hitting were much superior then the Nats. It was really a downer of the game for the hometown Nats. The Nats drop to 30-33 and are in last place of the NL East.


Pitching:

J.D Martin pitched 7.2 innings as he allowed 7 runs. It was taking one for the team performance. Miguel Batista finished the last .1 inning of the game with no runs.


Hitting:

The Nats scored only one run on three hits. Ryan Zimmerman accounted for the only run on his 13th homer of the year.
