Braves get to Strasburg and the Nats, 5-0.

The Atlanta Braves broke a tie game in the 7th inning against the Nats and Stephen Strasburg with five runs; the Braves would win the game by the score of 5-0. The turning point in the game was Ian Desmond error in the 7th inning which would have produce a double play. The Nats are showing they cannot field or hit on a consistent basis. The Nats are now 33-44 and are in last place of the NL eat.


Pitching:

Stephen Strasburg pitched 6.1 inning while giving up 4 runs which 3 were earned. Sean Burnett did not record an out while facing 4 batters; he was charged with one run. Drew Storen pitched .2 of an inning and did not give up a run. Miguel Batista pitched one scoreless inning of relief.

Hitting:

The Nats scored no runs on 5 hits. Roger Bernadina led the Nats with two hits.
