Braves Squash the Nats, 11-5.

Braves 11 Nats 5

The Nats got pummeled by the Braves, 11-5. The Braves scored early and they scored late while the Nats were highlighted only by a pitch hit homer by Mike Morse.

Pitching:

Starter Garrett Mock pitched 5 innings but gave up 6 runs. The bullpen of Zack Segovia, Mike MacDougal, Ron Villone and Logan Kensing combined for 4 innings while allowing 5 runs.

Batting

The Nats collected seven hits and scored six runs. The Nats were led by Alberto Gonzalez’s two hits. The big blow was the Morse’s pitch hit 3 run homer.

The Nats dropped to 52-102 and continue to be in last place of the NL.
