Nats win rubber game over the Marlins, 7-2.

The Nats scored early and control the game as they defeated the Marlins,7-2, and took two out of three in Florida.

Pitching:

Starter John Lannan gave a solid effort by pitching five innings and giving up only one run. The bullpen of Tyler Clippard and Jason Bergmann gave up one run in relief.

Batting:

The Nats collected 11 hits and scored 7 runs! The Nats were led by Cristen Guzman who had three hits. Ian Desmond and Pete Orr added two hits apiece. Orr hit his first homer since 2006.

Record:

The Nats improve to 50-93 and continue to be in last place of the NL.
