A Downer in D.C as the Nats lose to the Braves, 6-3.

Braves 6 Nats 3

The Nats had a downer as they let a late lead,3-2, over the Braves dissolve into a 6-3 lost in ten innings. The Nats were able to hit three homer runs, but they were all solo shots.

Pitching:
Starter Livan Hernandez was able to pitch 6.1 innings while giving up three runs. Tyler Clippard did not allow a run in 2.2 innings, but Mike MacDougal allowed 3 runs in the 10th inning to take the lost.

Batting

The Nats collected nine hits and scored three runs. The Nats were led by Willie Harris’ three hits. The solo homers were hit by Ryan Zimmerman, Josh Willingham and Mike Morse. It was Morse second consecutive day which he hit a homer.

Record:

The Nats dropped to 52-103 and continue to be in last place of the NL.

The Nats next game is today in NatsTown as Ross Detwiler takes on the New York Mets’ Nelson Figueroa at 7:05pm.
