The Nats lost a pitching duel as the Nats lost to the Padres,3-1,but the Nats left eight men on base in the lost.
Pitching:
Starter Livan Hernandez pitched a complete game still lost a 3-1 game to the Padres. He gave up two runs in the first and one run in the eighth.
Batting:
The Nats collected 8 hits, but managed only 1 run. Pete Orr and Elijah Dukes led the Nats with two hits a piece. Orr had the only RBI in the game.
