Mets win series over Nats, 6-2.

Mets 6 Nats 2

The Nats were dominated by the Mets as they lost 6-2. The Mets scored the first six runs of the ball game in the first eight innings. The Nats were only able to score two in the top of the 9th.

Pitching:

Starter Garret Mock was able to pitch seven inning, but gave up four runs early. The bullpen of Zack Segovia, Victor Garate and Logan Kensing pitched a combined two innings, but allowed two runs.

Batting

The Nats collected five hits while scoring two runs. The Nats had five different players who had hits in the game. Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman both had an RBI.

The Nats dropped to 51-98 and continue to be in last place of the NL.
