Nats 5 Marlins 4
The Nats ended an eight game losing streak and it came in dramatic fashion!!!!! The Nats made two comebacks in the game against the Marlins. The first comeback the Nats made came when they were down by two in the eighth inning and got a clutch two out hit from pinch hitter Mike Morse to tie the game at two. The second comeback came in the ninth as the Marlins took a 4-2 led in the top of the ninth, but in the bottom of the ninth the Nats crept back on got a solo shot from Willie Harris to get the Nats within 4-3. The drama increased as Cristen Guzman singled and Ryan Zimmerman delivered a two run game winning walk off homer against the Fish, 5-4.
Pitching:
Starter J.D Martin pitched a solid 6.2 innings while only giving up 2 runs. Ron Villone and Tyler Clippard gave up no runs in 1.1 innings of relief work. Mike MacDougal earned his first victory of the year even though he gave up two runs in one inning because of the heroics of the Nats’ offense in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Batting:
The Nats collected 10 hits and scored 5 runs.. The Nats were led by Elijah Dukes' two hits. The key hits were the Morse’s pitch hit in the eighth and Zimmerman’s homer in the 9th.

The Nats improved to 47-90 and continue to be in last place of the NL.
