Nats and Astros are suspended in the 11th

Today game versus the Astros was suspended due to the rain. The Nats have a runner, Elijah Dukes, at first base with one out in the 11th inning of a 10-10 game. The Nats came back from a 5-2 deficit, but also had a 8-5 and a 10-9 lead during the game.

The pitching was suspect again. Scott Olsen pitched 5 innings, but gave up 5 runs. Saul Rivera pitched a scoreless 7th, but relievers, Julian Tavarez, Garret Mock, and Kip Wells gave up 5 runs in 4 innings. Currently, Joel Hanrahan is pitching and he has allowed no runs in his one inning of relief.

The Nats have pounded out 10 hits today. Cristen Guzman, Nick Johnson, Ryan Zimmerman and Elijah Dukes all have multiple hit game. Dukes and Guzman both have homered and have two RBI each. Zimmerman extended his hitting streak to 23 games.

The game will be picked up in Houston on July 9th. The current box score is the following:

The Nats next game is tomorrow in LA. The Nats have Daniel Cabrera taking on the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw at 10:10pm.
