Phillies Sweep Double Header 8-5 and 7-5!

The Nats were swept by the visiting Phillies. Game 1 the Phillies won 8-5 and game 2 the Phillies won a rain shorten game by a score of 7-5.

Game 1- Starter Scott Olsen was not at his best and fell to 1-4. He pitched five innings and gave up 6 runs. Reliever Garrett Mock pitched two inning and gave up two runs. Jesus Colome finish the last inning and allowed no runs

The offense was lead by Ryan Zimmerman's two hits and two RBI. Zimmerman had his ninth homer and Josh Willingham also added his 6th of the year. The Nats overall had eight hits, but once again 5 runs was not enough.

Game 2- Starter Daniel Cabrera was himself again by pitching 5 innings and giving up 8 runs. Cabrera fell to 0-5. Ron Villone gave up one hit and two walks to load up the bases but the skies opened up in the 6th and the game was called.

The offense was lead by Ronnie Belliard and Josh Willingham who both had two hits apiece. Willie Harris had two RBI.

The Nats drop to 11-24 with the two losses and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

The Nats finish their four game home series with the Phillies today at 1:35pm as Jordan Zimmermann takes on the Phillies' Chan Ho Park.
