Offense support Lannan in a 9-4 win versus Astros.

John Lannan had a shaky start, but the offense supplied the runs to give him his first victory of the year. Lannan allowed four runs in six innings of work. Joel Hanrahan and Garret Mock pitched three innings of shut out relief in Lannan's behalf.

The offense was lead by red hot Ryan Zimmerman who had 4 hits and 2 RBI. Zimmerman continue his hit streak to 22 games. Anderson Hernandez, Cristen Guzman and Elijah Dukes all had multi-hit game. Dukes added 3 RBI.

The Nats improve to 7-17 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

The Nats have a get away day against the Astros at home at 12:35pm. The Nats have Scott Olsen taking on the Astros' Roy Oswalt.
