Nats fall to the O's in 12, 4-2

The Nats lost another close game in the late innings and this time the Orioles did the taking by winning the game in the twelfth,4-2.

The Nats got great starting pitching from starter Jordan Zimmerman who pitched 7 innings and giving up only two runs. The bullpen again of Ron Villone, Jason Bergmann and Joe Beimel put up 3 scoreless innings. Kip Well pitched two innings of relief but gave up 2 runs in last inning of work.
The offense was off last night as Ryan Zimmerman's two run homer was the only source of runs for the Nats.

The Nats drop to 12-29 and remain in last place of the NL East.

The second game of this home series versus the Orioles have Ross Detwiler taking on the O's Koji Uehara at 7:05pm.
