Lannan leads Nats, 7-1

The Nats won in convincing style last night against the Mets with a 7-1 victory. John Lannan pitched a complete game and the Nats hit three homers.


Pitching:

John Lannan pitched a complete game by only giving up one unearned run and 4 hits. Lannan also added two strikeouts.

Batting:

The Nats collected 9 hits and scoring 7 runs. Elijah Dukes and Nick Johnson both had 3 hits apiece. Adam Dunn, Dukes and Johnson all homer.

Record:

The Nats improve to 15-39 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.
