Nats beat O's, 5-3.

The Nats got a win in their last game versus the Orioles by a score of 5-3. John Lannan was solid once again and the offense was powered by Adam Dunn and Willie Harris who each had a homer.


Pitching:

Lannan even his record to 5-5 by pitching 7 innings and giving up three runs. Joe Beimel picked up his 9th hold while Mike MacDougal earned his 3rd save of the year.

Batting:

The Nats collected 12 hits, and scored 5 runs. The Nats were led by Josh Willingham and Cristen Guzman who each had three hits a piece. The power that was supplied by Nats’ offense was mention above by Dunn’s and Harris’ homers.

Record:

The Nats improved to 22-51 and continue to be in last place of the NL East.

Next Game:

The Nats next game is tonight on the road in Miami as they take on the Florida Marlins. Scott Olsen takes on the Fish’s Ricky Nolasco at 7:05 pm.
